If you did an accountancy qualification you'll have reached the same level of knowledge as someone who has done A level maths.

I did a full accountancy qualification years ago, covered very basic stats, was looking for more in depth.

I have got a stat.

99.9% of Turan's posts are purely attention seeking.

The other 0.01% are just boring.

Re: Statistics courses

Thanks Big Dave. I was looking for a certified course if possible.

The application would be for Business purposes.

If for business purposes I doubt if you'd find a certified standalone course - all you need would be part of ACCA or CIMA.

Standalone course go a lot further than what you'd need - you're talking about operations research etc.

Re: Statistics courses
Do you need to know how to do statistical analysis - ie: be taught bog standard methods that are used in business and sciences - or do you need to know how they work - ie: calculus etc?

I enrolled on a graduate certificate in statistics years ago - I have A level maths so I qualified. I was lost within 30 minutes.

You can buy a book and learn it all if you just need to know how to do various tests.
